She is a registered Royal Conservatory Teacher and a member of the Alberta Piano Teachers Association (APTA) and Alberta Registered Music Teachers Association (ARMTA). Leith received the Top Teacher Award from Steinway in 2019 and 2021.
Leith has worked as a vocal soloist, vocal coach, and active member of several professional Alberta choirs. She was the print music specialist for a Calgary music store for many years and coordinated many workshops with Royal Conservatory and Hal Leonard. She was the head of the classical music department at the HMV Superstore in West Edmonton Mall.
Leith has been teaching music for more than 30 years. For the last 10 years, Leith has been mentoring teachers, and growing her music studio. She has seamlessly woven together her business and music background. This allowed her studio to thrive through the pandemic, even as other businesses suffered. In 2022, Leith created a structured framework from her personal business strategies and founded the Bell Music Business Hub. “The Hub” puts every business resource a musician-entrepreneur needs in one, convenient, virtual location.
